Event Type: Library Event
Date: 7/24/2021
Start Time: All Day
For the first time in more than a year, Langdon Divers Community Gallery will be filled with local art as it hosts its first in-person art exhibit as well as an artist reception.
From Wednesday, July 7 through Tuesday, Aug. 4, members of THELMA Visual Artists will display their work at the gallery as a part of their second-annual members exhibit. An artist reception also is scheduled for Thursday, July 8 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.; the public is welcome to attend.
THEMLA Visual Artists was founded in 2019 as a juried in-house visual artists group for the organization, a 501c.3 under the umbrella of the Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts. This is the first time the group has been able to meet as a whole due to the pandemic.
The Langdon Divers Community Gallery will be open seven days a week, whenever the Fond du Lac Public Library is open at 32 Sheboygan St. The gallery may be found off the atrium at the south entrance to the Main Library.
