 Biology educator Margie Winter will give a short presentation about Eastern bluebirds, their natural history, habitat, food sources and nest box design and placement. Participants will build a wood bluebird nest box from materials provided; cost for materials is $3 per person, payable at the event. For adults and teens 13 and older. Space is limited; registration required and begins at 9:30 am Sat Apr 13 here at the Calendar.

Winter has retired from teaching high school biology but teaches the subject now at Marian University. She's passionate about birds, prairies and native landscaping and serves on the boards of the FDL Audubon Society and Gottfried Prairie and Arboretum.
