Badge & Make: Printing Press- Holiday Cards In-Person
Get trained on our Jack Richeson & Co Small Press. This press has a 13" bed width, and it can be used to make prints from thin linoleum blocks, etched or engraved mediums, collagraph plates and various kinds of mono printing! There is honestly a lot you can make using this printing press.
In this "Badge & Make" class we will go over the operation and rules regarding this press, plus everyone will get to try their hand at printing making. We will explore and play with a few mediums to print with using the press. Everyone will also get a chance to design and print some holiday cards to take home with them.
This class is for ages 13 and over. Registration and a library card/account number are required. Space is limited, so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other times available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org if you have any questions.
