Creativebug Club: Practice in Bookmaking In-Person
This month in our Creativebug Club, we will learn about book binding and book making.
Blank books are deceptively simple vessels of creativity. This month, we will watch a few videos by bookmaker Faith Hale and learn as she demonstrates traditional bindings like a three-hole pamphlet to innovative structures like the blizzard book. Whether your style is precise or playful, in this class learn fundamentals of bookbinding and find a structure that ignites your imagination. All supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring in your own paper to make your book with if you would like.
This event is open to patrons 13 years and older. Registration is required for each person joining this class to make sure there are enough supplies. Please sign up to reserve your spot and if you are unable to attend, please contact the library to cancel your seat to give other patrons a chance to join the class.
