Creativebug Club: Upcycled Plushie Creatures In-Person
This month in our Creativebug Club, we will learn some basic sewing tips and tricks that can be found on Creativebug and then everyone will use those skills to make their own crazy upcycled plushie creation.
Stephanie, who works in the Idea Studio, loves sewing and making weird and funny art creations in her spare time. Last year she was making silly plush creatures with her old stuffed animals and beanie babies from her childhood and showed them off in several art shows. So many people have enjoyed them and asked how they could make their own crazy creations. This is the perfectly opportunity for anyone who wants to get silly and creative with us and learn how to make your own crazy upcycled plushie creation.
We will provide all of the supplies for this class, but feel free to bring in some of your own smaller plushies or beanie babies to cut up or to potentially share with others.
This event is open to patrons 13 years and older. Registration is required for each person joining this class to make sure there are enough supplies. Please sign up to reserve your spot and if you are unable to attend, please contact the library to cancel your seat to give other patrons a chance to join the class.
