Idea Studio Badging: Printing Press (CD Intaglio) In-Person
Attention printmakers! Sign up to get badged on the Idea Studio Printing Press. This class will include operation and basics of our Jack Richeson & Co Small Press that has a 13" bed width.
After going over the basics of the press, everyone will get to try their hand at CD intaglio printing. That is a drypoint printmaking technique where we will scratch or etch a design into a CD or DVD and then we will use that as our printing plate. All of the supplies will be provided for this class.
This class is for ages 13 and over. Registration and library card/account number are required. Space is strictly limited, so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other times available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org with your request.
