Idea Studio Badging: Sublimation Printer & Heat Press "How to sublimate a T-Shirt" In-Person
Get badged on our sublimation printer and heat presses in the Idea Studio and learn how you can design and sublimate your own t-shirt.
We will demonstrate how to print designs from the Sawgrass Print Manager software and printer, plus we will go through both of our heat press operation basics. We will show how you can print or color your own design and how you would sublimate that onto the appropriate t-shirt. This will just be a demonstration- everyone will not get to print a shirt, just learn how to sublimate a design onto a shirt.
Once you have taken this class, then you will be able to use the sublimation printer and presses for up to six hours a week when the Idea Studio is open. Then you will be able to purchase your own sublimation t-shirt and bring it in to sublimate.
This class is for ages 13 and older. Registration and a library card are required to get badged. Space is limited so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other badging times are available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org with your request
