Summer Pen Pals

Did you know the United States of America is turning 250 years old this year? A lot of what we know about life 250 years ago, we know because of letters. People would write letters back and forth to each other, talking about how they lived and what was important to them. Now it’s your turn: Share what's important to you and/or your family with local seniors, who will then write back from their perspective. At the end of the program, letters will be added to our local history collection so people 250 years from now will know what life was like in 2026. Stop by the Children's Desk or visit our website for more details.
