Creativebug Club: Basic Embroidery Stitches

Creativebug Club: Basic Embroidery Stitches In-Person

The Creativebug Club meets in the Fond du Lac Public Library Idea Studio on the fourth Wednesday of every month to explore award winning arts and craft video classes taught by recognized design experts and artists on Creativebug.com.

This month we will follow along on Creativebug and learn about 5 different embroidery stitches from different classes on CB. It's a fun way to learn how one topic is approached by a variety of artists with different techniques, all rounded up in one curated mixtape.

Embroidery is practiced all over the world using a seemingly limitless variety of stitches. Here we've gathered together to practice some of the very basics of embroidery. We will provide the materials you need for this class, but feel free to bring in your own materials if you prefer using your own supplies.

This event is open to patrons 13 years and older. Registration is required for this event, so please sign up to reserve your spot. If you are unable to attend, please contact the library to cancel your seat to give other patrons a chance to join the class.
