TEEN Badge & Make: Easy Sew Phone Pillow In-Person
Calling all teens! Receive training on the Idea Studio's Sewing Machine (Janome Schoolmate S-3015) and learn how to sew your own phone pillow.
In this training class, we will go over the use and operation of the Idea Studios two Janome sewing machines. Patrons will have a chance to sew their own phone pillow stand to take home with them for free. You are welcome to bring in your own fabric, otherwise fabric and thread are available for use, but availability varies.
Once you have gone through this free training session, you will be able to use the sewing machine for up to six hours per week when the Idea Studio is open.
This class is open to teens aged 13-18. Registration and a library card/account number are required to get badged. Space is limited, so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other times available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org with your request.
