Idea Studio Badging: Sewing Machine & Serger In-Person
Receive training on the Idea Studio's Janome sewing machines and serger.
In this training class, we will go over the use and operation of the Idea Studios two Janome sewing machines and serger. We will go over the basics of both of the machines, and everyone will have a chance to practice sewing on some scrap fabrics. Once you have gone through this free training session, you will be able to use the sewing machine or serger for up to six hours per week when the Idea Studio is open.
This class is for ages 13 and over. Registration and a library card/account number are required. Space is strictly limited, so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other times available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org with your request.
