Author Event at Chapter 52: Katrina Serwe In-Person
Join us Saturday, March 14 from 10 am to noon for an Author Event at Chapter 52 Bookstore.
Katrina Serwe, author of First Steps: Poemwalking the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in the Northern Kettle Moraine, will be available to talk with visitors and will be selling copies of her book.
Book description (provided by author):
First Steps: Poemwalking the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in the Northern Kettle Moraine: This poetry collection was inspired by hikes on the 84 miles of Ice Age National Scenic Trail through the Northern Kettle Moraine. This is the start of a healing journey through hiking and poetry, the first steps of a 1,000 miles. Climb a moraine, listen to breath and birdsong, backtrack, enjoy ephemeral wildflowers, and celebrate with the clapping of aspen leaves.
