Writing Workshop Series with Lake Literary In-Person
Have you recently started writing? Do you already identify as a writer or a poet? No matter your level or experience, this joint collaborative writing workshop with Lake Literary Center and the Fond du Lac Public Library will illuminate your mind, offering a broad groundwork in writing. This four-week course will cover: listening to writers read their work aloud, drafting pieces, expanding on those pieces and editing them, and finally, performing a brief piece aloud at an open mic event! This four-week course will begin on Wednesday, December 3 at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The second week will be held at Lake Literary Center during Lake Literary Out Loud, its last monthly poetry and prose open mic for 2025. Week 3 returns to the library, before finishing at Lake Literary Center. This event will have a featured author reading, and then workshop students can read their work aloud during the open mic portion afterward.
As class size is limited, please plan to attend each session of this four-part series. If needed, early notice of cancellation is appreciated.
