Creativebug: Shrinky Dink pins/ Jewelry In-Person
The Creativebug Club meets in the Fond du Lac Public Library Idea Studio on the fourth Wednesday of every month to explore award winning arts and craft video classes taught by recognized design experts and artists on Creativebug.com. This month we will learn about making creating original and wearable works of art with shrinkable plastic! When the Shrinky Dink plastic is heated, the cut shapes become about nine times thicker and reduce to about one-third the original size, resulting in hard, flat forms which retain their initial color and shape. We will then use this material to make unique jewelry or pins with. Supplies will be provided; you just need come in and get creative with us.
This event is open to teens 13 years and older. Children under 13 are welcome, but they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the whole class. Registration is required for this event, so please sign up to reserve your spot. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your seat to give other patrons a chance to join the class.
