Langdon Divers Gallery Exhibit: Howie Zanto

Langdon Divers Gallery Exhibit: Howie Zanto In-Person

Visit the Langdon Divers Community Gallery throughout September to discover the pastel paintings of Howie Zanto.

Zanto previously owned Living Light Studio in Fond du Lac. But after 40 plus years of doing stained glass work, Zanto transitioned to painting. "While sitting around the studio playing computer games I really started missing being creative and thought I would try painting now, why not?" he said.

He started in 2020, experimented with various medium, and settled on pastels. "I attribute a lot of of my success to having an easel and being able to have the painting on the vertical plane so I can get my depth perception correct," he said. "Now, painting has changed my view of not only the outside world, but also deepened a side of me that I’m continuing to explore and enjoy."

A public reception will be held Thursday, Sept. 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
