Badge & Make: Easy Sew Stocking In-Person
Come and receive training on the Idea Studio's Sewing Machine (Janome Schoolmate S-3015) and sew your own holiday stocking. In this training class, we will go over the use and operation of the Idea Studios sewing machine and then each person will get to sew a lined stocking. You are welcome to bring in your own fabric, otherwise scrap fabric and thread are available for use, but availability varies. Once users have gone through this free training session you will be able to use the sewing machine or serger at your convenience for up to six hours per week when the Idea Studio is open.
This class is for ages 13 and over. Registration and a library card/account number are required. Space is strictly limited, so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other times available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org with your request
