Langdon Divers Gallery Exhibit: Sandra Schaetzel Uecker

Langdon Divers Gallery Exhibit: Sandra Schaetzel Uecker In-Person

Discover the acrylic paintings of Sandra Schaetzel Uecker as she hosts an exhibit at the Langdon Divers Gallery from Aug. 6 to Sept. 2. The gallery is located inside the foyer of the Fond du Lac Public Library.

A Fond du Lac native, Uecker graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a bachelor’s degree in art education and enjoyed a lifelong career as a public high school art teacher.

She currently resides in Monterey County, California. That area “and my home state of Wisconsin are definitely my inspirations and subject matter,” Uecker said. “I began seriously painting when I retired. It was my time to return to my love of painting in acrylics and getting ‘lost’ in the process of creating landscape, still life, and some portrait work.”

A public reception will be held Thursday, Aug. 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the gallery

The Langdon Divers Community Gallery is open seven days a week, whenever the Fond du Lac Public Library is open at 32 Sheboygan St. The gallery may be found off the atrium at the south entrance to the Main Library.
