Idea Studio Badging: Janome Sewing Machines and Serger In-Person
Come and receive training on the Idea Studio's Sewing Machine (Janome Schoolmate S-3015). In this training class, we will go over the use and operation of the Idea Studios sewing machine and serger. If there is time, users will be able to sew their own fabric bookmarks to take home with them for free. You are welcome to bring in your own fabric, otherwise some scrap fabric and thread are available for use, but availability varies. Once users have gone through this free training session you will be able to use the sewing machine or serger at your convenience for up to six hours per week when the Idea Studio is open.
This class is for ages 13 and over. Registration and a library card/account number are required. Space is strictly limited, so please cancel in advance if you are unable to attend. Other times available by appointment. Contact ideastaff@fdlpl.org with your request.
