Did you know that eating meatless meals is good for you and for the environment? Replacing just one meal a week with a vegetarian option can offer numerous health benefits and helps take action against climate change. Meatless meals have a reduced carbon footprint and help conserve precious environmental resources. Meatless cooking can taste great! Join presenter Renee Wahlen, director of Marsh Haven Nature Center, to make some healthy easy recipes. Snacks and resources provided, along with information on Fond du Lacís Farm2Table Co-op & Cafť.
This program is free. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and begins at 9:30 am Fri Feb 14 here at the Calendar.
This Family Friday Activity is the first in a six-part series. It is a feature in the Lenten Earth community program created by the Fond du Lac Center for Spirituality & Healing. Lenten Earth is intended to spend 40 days of caring for Mother Earth, the physical mother of Godís creation.
