Associate Professor Michael Wagner of the UW-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication will examine what research says about fake news, fact checking and how these and “selective exposure” to like-minded media can impact democracy. Dr. Wagner is co-author of the 2018 book, “Political Behavior of the American Electorate.” The session will include plenty of time for questions. Free. No registration.
